Discharging Taxes in Bankruptcy

Whenever a taxpayer is considering bankruptcy, it is important to also review the dischargeability of taxes in bankruptcy. Not all taxes are dischargeable in bankruptcy. Tax liens may also survive a bankruptcy.

Consult with a competent attorney that specializes in bankruptcy if you are considering filing. We are available to collaborate with bankruptcy attorneys to analyze the feasibility of a bankruptcy filing in order to potentially minimize the amount of taxes remaining post bankruptcy.
