Our Vision

Defending taxpayer rights to ensure fairness under the tax laws is our business. If you are experiencing tax problems with the IRS, State or Local taxing authorities, we can represent you. This can include resolving back taxes, tax audit defense, entering into settlement agreements, filing tax disputes and a wide range of specialized topics.

Our People

Howard Richardson

Howard Richardson is an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the US Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service at all administrative levels regarding audits, appeals and collections. Enrolled Agents have unlimited practice rights before the IRS in all fifty US states. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. 

​Mr. Richardson is a CPA Candidate and has passed all four sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination required for licensure.

Howard is a commissioned Notary Public (California) and a licensed Real Estate Broker (California).

Mr. Richardson is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA) and the National Notary Association (NNA).

 

He served for multiple years in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program sponsored by the IRS. Each tax season Mr. Richardson completed training and certification by the IRS, after which he provided free tax preparation services for low-to-moderate income individuals, seniors, persons with disabilities and limited English proficiency.
