Howard Richardson is an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the US Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service at all administrative levels regarding audits, appeals and collections. Enrolled Agents have unlimited practice rights before the Internal Revenue Service in all fifty US states. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the Internal Revenue Service.
Howard is a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA) and a Financial Professional member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
He served for multiple years in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program sponsored by the IRS. Each tax season Mr. Richardson completed training and certification by the IRS, after which he provided free tax preparation services for low-to-moderate income individuals, seniors, persons with disabilities and limited English proficiency.
